wow, so far this day(4th day) is the most enjoyable stay i had here in singapore. we went to sentosa(parang island na puro theme parks as i understand it), took a train ride about $3..drop off to beach station where we rode on the skyride(ala cable car na bakal lang hehe!). Its just hard to actually get in and out off the cable structure(di kasi stop siya you need to go with the flow). if you're afraid of heights, pls don't try..don't wear shoes w/o laces also. what's nice about it is you can get a picture on the way up. unfortunately, it will cost you $9 for the ride(skyride and luge) + $10 per picture. you have an option for them to email it for $5 hehe! once you're up..there's only one way but to go down hehe! (eto yung fun part sobra). It is luge(actually sa ride mas malaki yung ads ng luge kesa skyride hehe!), "once is not enough", that's the press release hehe and its true..believe me(sarap..mahal nga lang). then we went for the play/show entitled "songs of the sea", wow what water and light effects(now ko lang nalaman water can be use as a screen). it costs $6 for the show. after that we went to eat at their foodcourt. as always spicy(from day one lahat spicy awat!! hehe!). after we wen't for a walk in clarke quay, we're the pubs/night life are(we don't drink, at budget conscious kaya hangang lakad lang hehe!) and of course hooters. we decided to go home when we can't feel our legs(super lakad.."singapore ppl are the 2nd fastest walkers in the world" - Noel G.). as usual, i was waiting for a cab for about an hour(staple na yun lagi kami nawawala hehe!)
another day of training hai! (wala naman happening) so let's skip that. we rode the free shuttle bus to the city hall cause we're trying to find plaza singapura. suddenly my fone rang, it was an unknown number (kala ko tuloy i was caught on camera crossing sa hindi pedestrian hehe!). si Sir G pala, finally some filipino friend here medyo safe na hehe! we met up with him in Funan (its the digital mall). i saw a store selling the creative zen silicone case(para sa wifey ko dahil nagasgas ko zen niya =P ), it is priced at $18..so i bid to $13. the seller won't budge after a long conversation bargaining finally the price is $15..its cheaper from what the projected price is. Yet i didn't buy it because i know Sim Lim (another digital plaza) is much cheaper there. So we went to bugis street (like a tiangge) and bought some pasalubong dried cuttlefish(hopefully i pray to God masarap), and as usual i forgot to ask for a receipt hai! (awat!). Sir G treated us for an ice cream(parang yung sa pinas na palaman ng tinapay ice cream hehe!). We went inside Sim Lim, i wanted to buy a 2GB flash driver priced at $28.90 which is so far the cheapest here in singapore. Sir G suggested to buy the 4GB priced at $52.90 so now im confused. i have the money but i need receipts waahh! i'll just go back to that place today or by tomorrow hehe! we ate at terra inside capitol mall. the food was good and then we talked about living here in singapore. after dinner, he taught us how to ride the MRT and buses. yet after taking the MRT, we were stuck in chinatown calling for taxi for an hour or so. about past 11pm we were back at hotel miramar. thanks sir G for an informative night.
my course is AVD 101-McAfee Intranet Defense: VirusScan Enterprise and ePolicy Orchestrator.how should i start this..sobrang nag-expect ako from this training. i believe it will help boost my knowledge about our McAfee products. Actually there are two products that are going to be touched by the course namely VirusScan, an antivirus software, and ePO, or the management console. personally, i've been using VirusScan from quite sometime now. I am also used to troubleshooting the product for various reasons (syempre customer care ka ba naman eh!). The 1st day until half of day 2 will be focused on the said product. So..nothing to tell much because i already know much of it hehe! after the training we strolled along the hotel block (again). we went to the singapore river, quite a clean place i might say. after, Ross (Mcafee Sales Manager for Phil, Vietnam and Singapore) took us for dinner. the place is a combination of horse-back riding, golf course/range, live seafood and resto. we didn't try to play golf or the horse-back (gabi na kasi at takot ako sumubok hehe). what we tried are the "exotic" food (for us) of singapore. quite good food but all are spicy =), ever since we've been here lagi na lang spicy eat ko aawwaat!!. after, we went to little india (a place where indians stay duh!), or some sort of chinatown (but with indians of course). the shopping centre is called mustafa, i got pissed because there are so many people (mostly indians) meaning you know the smell (parang supperr/gigantic shawarma, imagine that)..then i saw the price of the cologne i bought from the convience store wow its so cheap (biruin mo $12.90 from con-store, $7.50 in mustafa hai!). then we waited for 1hr and a half to hail a cab (the store is actually 24hrs thats why so many people). finally about 11:30pm i said goodbye to my 2nd day in singapore hehe!
guys..whatt!! i'm in singapore. yehey! after a boring plane trip finally we are here. the NAIA is nothing compared to changi airport. as soon as we arrived, money changer agad hehe! mas mataas pala ang palitan sa airport hehe! halatang 1st timer ako, pero 1st timer din kasama ko waahh!! everything is so organized. you have many means of transpo from taxis, bus, limo and MRT (believe or not meron din sila mas hi-tech lang i suppose). taxi's are also by color coding (di MMDA ang nagpauso nyan) there's a yellow, blue or silver cab (based din sa models ng cars), i hope tama ako. charging are different for each color cab. our hotel sucks big time. no free wi-fi and no international channels. biruin mo NET25 ang isang filipino channel. sa pinas, di nga napapanood yun hehe! o well, we ate on an indian restaurant, super sa anghang ng food haha! mahal din ng bilihin hehe! hopefully ok ang training. i love my wifey! mwah!
its a new year, i have a new place and a new computer..sayang lang na i didn't get to join in the singapore training. hopefully by next year i get my chance. but i doubt it, it took 4 long years for it to become a reality. me and my wifey had a talked last night about my past "girls", i might say it still affects me in a way that i dont wanna tackle such topics anymore. pero for my wifey, i would gladly be open to her anytime even though it means that she might get hurt (hopefully hindi naman). uncomfortable kasi when she knows what i want was in the grasp of my hands na talaga pero i let go kasi di siya yun. pero for my wifey's info, kaw talaga ang bida ng buhay ko..ikaw lang..hehe! walang halong biro. walang halong bola. gusto ko sa atin mangyari yun at wala ng iba..and that's my burden..making it happened.
i was sent on an errand yesterday to bring and setup one of the lotus notes server for B-Meg Bataan Plant. it was supposedly my boss but unfortunately, my other boss (a level higher) didn't allow him to go. so it was me, i was kinda pissed because i dont really know what to do and how will i manage to mingle with my group (all bosses/managers). but at the end of the day, they were accommodating. before even setting foot to bataan i was advised to bring money (extra ones) and to do my job as quickly as possible. i was really surprised. i was informed earlier it was a field trip of some sort hehe! which of course i didn't believe at first. after lunch, there were talks of a tiangge near the plant. a tiangge were nearby plants (clothes, shoes, bags, etc.) are participating. we were excited, so we went there after eating. i saw the stuff for a typical tiangge. i was hesitant to buy Jansport bags because it might be fakes. i talked to locals there and they said that the items are original but locally produced (made in philippines) and they were for exports. but i was really looking forward to the Vans section which i really wanted a long time ago. so as the booth opened i was one of the first to go inside yehey! there i was able to picked up a sneaker. i texted my wifey what color she wanted (for the Jansport bag w/c i know she likes) but no replies. i was disappointed thinking she was really busy so i didn't buy her. that was a big mistake..i am known to be buy gifts for people close to me that i know they will like. im not into the surprise thing really. what matters to me is that they like it or even love it. i want to see their faces thanking me not the "thought that counts" thing, sorry wifey really "la me pasalubong"..mwah! =(
it's almost christmas, less than a month to go. some people are thinking of gifts to give and gifts to receive. i'm also thinking what and who should i give. difficult decision right? some will expect, some will be surprised if given. ever thought of giving yourself a gift? mine..i wish even for a day i stop thinking..thinking too much of everything. it keeps on putting pressure to myself. pressure to be a good son, a good co-worker, a good boyfriend and a good person as a totality. i hope people also notice and appreciate what i did and what i am capable of doing. that's what i want for christmas.
its been awhile since i've posted. la masyado happening sa life hehe! maybe this weekend kasi saturday na, its wifey day hehe! its my dad's birthday today (happy bday papa!). i shared some dough for the expenses. for a change i guess, and my treat to my former co-workers on the other group. a sort of thank you to them for helping me out on my first job. but the main reason for my posting is our new guy. they call him "classmate" because he is one of our groupmate's classmate. but for some reason we don't know, deadma lang siya. di gaya ng old friends like "uy, pare kamusta". its kinda different, sabi niya mahirap daw kasing kausap at malabo. i believe him, actually we are sort of related. my mom and her mom are cousins (2nd-3rd degree). we spent some days in their house, family gathering. so i know him beforehand. but i don't wanna tell cause from my experience, he pisses me. yabang at damot (period). siguro not thru materialistic side pero knowledge-wise. papaturo ka lang, ayaw niya or paaasahin ka sa wala. pag may alam siya pagyayabang niya or he'll prove it to who that he knows more. bad..very bad..hopefully he changes. hopefully the new guy becomes the changed guy.
yesterday my wifey ask if me if i wanted to join her to go to the gym. there's a promo at fitness first that lets you use their facilities for free and you can even bring your friends if you like. so i gladly say yes (i love free stuff). so we talked about it last not, but there was a misunderstanding (as usual). wrong interpretation, nagtaas na siya ng boses mga ganun. lately, she's like that. easily pissed, maybe i do made her like that kasi naman lagi me pabago-bago. i know she hates that things (pabago-bago at paulit-ulit). so the talk ended abruptly kasi nawala yung tone only between our lines. then again this morning, i had a change of heart (mind dapat). ayoko muna maggym kasi dami dala, naisip ko papawisan me from top to bottom. magpapalit me ng clothes from top to bottom din right? hirap magdala ng gamit na mabigat tapos layo pa, tapos ang dami pa tao sa MRT. so i keep saying sorry and other things (like i usually do). again i feel she got pissed and said "TAMA NA".
to STOP or not to STOP..i'm i going overboard? or i'm just thinking..or too much thinking..i just wish the world suddenly flips over..para she can feel what i had felt..so she can understand me "better" mwah!
lately im so addicted to magic : the gathering card game. usually i do get to play in the office because every MWF we had this little grouping of players. but lately i influenced my neighbors to go back in playing, and they did. almost everynight we do play magic. saturday was different, because during the day part im in my wifey's house. honestly my sleep that friday night was a little short. so i do expect im a little bit sleepy still, i did sleep a little in my wifey's house. alam niya pagod me, pero that night i still played magic. actually di naman nakakapagod to play it. you can relax and sit the whole game just throwing cards around hehe! pero she has a point, pero i will never let magic be the cause of our fights. never. im i right to say that magic is trouble, or i'm the one in trouble.
You're just thinking to much... I'm not pissed naman... I just said TAMA NA kasi I'm avoiding na it'll lead... read more
